Cris is a cutie!! She is a Cockapoo, born on February 19, 2008, and came to Circle Tail for our Assistance Dog program. Unfortunately, she lacks the high level of confidence needed for the job but will make the perfect pet for the right family. She is a little shy at first so needs an adult only family or one with kids 10+ who can help her confidence blossom. She loves to take walks, chew on her toys and play with humans that she knows. She is always up for a romp with her doggy friends and an occasional chase for any resident cats just to give them a little exercise. She is not yet fully  housetrained -- she needs a home that can help with this task with consistency, crate training and patience, and she will have it in no time!! She is working on basic obedience and is crate trained.

Are these not the cutest pictures??Mom is a purebred black lab, dad unknown but guessing lab from their looks. They are sweet, fun loving, playful pups who enjoy people. They are looking for a new home that has lots of toys and love for them!!! They are not housetrained, and cannot be until they are around 4+ months and have developed sphincter control (whereas they still may have an occasional accident as their bladder matures). They are working on manners currently.

Kinley is a joy to have around. Her fun-loving attitude is contagious! Born January 1, 2008, this beautiful girl came to Circle Tail for our service dog program, but would rather play than work! She is a bit stubborn if she decides she isn't up for what you want to do!! She's fairly laid back for a lab puppy: playful but not hyper - the perfect combo! She enjoys taking walks, and walks very well with her Halti head collar. She also likes chewing her bone and playing fetch, and adores playing with other dogs. She gets along with cats too. She'll do well with kids mature enough to provide her leadership, love, and plenty of play time! Kinley's foster mom says "She is an awesome snuggler!" and she LOVED all the kids that came to visit.

This little girl and her siblings were found as strays running with mom. Mom was a smaller German Shepherd dog mix and dad unknown but we are guessing lab by the looks of them. She is a very sweet pup who loves people, her toys and playing. She is enjoying the company of people -- very cuddly and snuggling, but also loves to play fetch with her toys to entertain herself. Her favorite toys include nylabones, ceramic bones, and soft toys. She loves to do the agility equipment and play with a tennis ball. She should be getting close to housetrained for her age. She still may have accidents as her bladder fully matures. She is also working on crate training and basic obedience.

Sergie is a sweetheart, doing well in a foster home. She is a result of a match between a gorgeous German Shepherd mix and an unknown father, but we are guessing Shar-Pei mix. She is fine with people, dogs and cats.

Her foster mom says;

  • She is so sweet.

  • She is very people oriented and loves to follow her person wherever they go.

  • She loves to cuddle, and she tries to be a lap dog if you let her.

  • She loves to be outside with the kids to explore and chew on sticks.

  • She is doing so well with dogs, typically taking the submissive role and is respectful of the cat who has shown her who is boss.

  • She likes learning new things. Her motto is: Will Work For Food!!

  • Though well behaved for her age, she is definitely still a puppy who loves her toys.

  • She is housetrained and does well in her crate and has some basic obedience.

Mom, Silivus, below came to Circle Tail very pregnant from a county shelter.... On February 5, out came Dolius and her siblings! Mom is a gorgeous German Shepherd mix (pictured). We don't know who's the daddy, but we're guessing a Shar-Pei mix. What we do know is that this puppy is a very social dog with her friends and family. She is a little shy with new people, but quickly warms up to be a sweetheart to all!! She has been in the prison program where she was socialized and handled by many people, and learned basic manners. She gets along with other dogs, and cats too...of course she figure cats need exercise too, so will chase them in true puppy style! She should be housetrained (but may have accidents as her bladder fully matures) and are crate trained and are learning basic obedience.
