Circle Tail

Circle Tail is east of Milford, approximately 30 miles from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.

All Circle Tail dogs available for adoption are spayed or neutered.  Each has received age appropriate vaccines.  In addition, each Circle Tail dog over 6 months old has tested negative for heartworm and is on heartworm preventative medicine.

Please note, most of our dogs for adoption are NOT housed on site at Circle Tail. They stay in one of the four Ohio Correctional Institutions we work with where they learn age appropriate obedience commands, house manners, and house training. 

ADOPTION PROCESS

1. Complete the online preadoption form.
2. One of our volunteer adoption counselors will review your answers and respond to you within two to three business days to discuss the information you supplied and the next steps.
3. If we have an appropriate match for you, we will work with you to determine when you can meet the dog at Circle Tail. Most of our dogs are housed at the area correctional facilities we work with or in foster family homes. Our hours are by appointment only.
4. Our adoption fee is based on the individual dog’s age, breed, size, training and medical expenses. We accept cash, money orders or local personal checks. We are unable to take credit cards.
