Morty is doing wonderfully!!!  He had a slow start with us, very timid and nervous about anything new.  We worked hard to earn his trust and advised anybody new, that they have to do the same.  We say now that he is a completely different dog than the day we met him.  He loves people, and definitely loves other dogs.  He is a total sweetheart and the biggest 70 pound baby I have ever met!!  Morty has been a great addition to our family.  We had some tough times for the first several weeks due to his timidness and anxiety, but he has completely turned around.  He is so goofy, he makes us laugh constantly!  Thank you for your help, and we couldn't be happier with our new addition. If you could please post the following on happy beginnings, we would really appreciate it!  I also attached some pictures of Morty and his goofy antics.
Hi! I'd like to give you an update on how Traven is doing. I'm not quite sure if you remember, but my father and I adopted him in the beginning of July 2007, and he is just a year old on approximately March 28. The following pictures are some pictures of his first year!
Franz is doing great! We have renamed him "Lucky" and he is adjusting well. Have been meaning to send pictures. Will try to do that this week. He has learned to get along well with our other dog and they seem to have figured out who's boss! Anyway, will send pictures soon. Thanks for checking.

We adopted Madana (changed the spelling to Madonna) last weekend and are so happy with her - we think she's happy with us, too. She's fitting in very nicely in her new home. We love playing fetch together and taking walks. She's doing really well with her obedience training and is a perfect little girl - with very occasional lapses if there's food too close to the edge of the counter (she is a puppy, after all). Thank you so much for letting us adopt her, she's a real joy to have in our home.
Hello, my wife and I wanted to give you a little update on Chandon, now known as Crosley. Crosley just graduated from puppy school and is doing extremely well in her forever home. She loves to learn new tricks and impresses everyone with her smarts. We saw a story about another Vella puppy that loves the shower, well it must be in their bloodline, because Crosley has to jump in the tub every morning.
Crosley has been an absolutely joy to have around the house. She loves taking walks and playing with her cousins (both Circle Tail dogs), Sadie and Hubble. She also enjoys "helping" with laundry and other household chores. She also is warming up to our nieces and nephew, which is extremely important to us considering they are around quite a bit.

So far everything has been great! It took Henry a few days to realize that this was home but he seems to be settling in now. We've been working on his commands with him and he's already learned a new trick: "Give me ten." (He leans back and taps both front paws to upheld hands.) During his first full day here, he followed me around while I was doing laundry and brought me a sock that I dropped as I carried a load from the dryer to the bedroom...everyone sure got a kick out of that! He's very playful during the day and we always make sure he gets a couple hours of walk/outside time. Then he settles in at night and doesn't even cry to get out of his crate in the morning if one of us gets up but the other stays in bed. He was also very patient with us this week when we gave him a bath, cut his nails, and took him to the vet. Obviously we're all still adjusting to each other a little bit, but I am confident that, as well as everything has been so far, it will only continue to get better.Thank for everything! Having Henry around really brightens up life!
I am attaching a copy of the pictures we used for our Christmas card this year - Lucy and our kids. :) Would love to have that added to the Happy Beginnings page. Lucy has been such an awesome addition to our home - we just love her. She is so good with the kids. She is so happy all the time and seems so eager to please. I just can not imagine life with out her now

Hello,  We adopted this golden retriever / beagle mix pup a little over two weeks ago.  You will remember her by Cooley.  We call her Lilly.  Aidan bought her with money he had saved for the past year so his other dog would have a friend.  Lilly is doing very well and we love her very much!  She has come a long way in just two weeks with training and learning the routines of the house.  It's hard to believe she has grown already from 15 lbs to 20 lbs!  She had hook worm, various parasites, bladder infection and upper respiratory infection but has kicked it all and doing great.  You'll see in the last photo Aidan with his first doggie, Bailey who just turned 13 years. old.  Lilly & Bailey are just now beginning to pal around.  Now and then Bailey has to remind her that he is not a chew toy but they are getting used to each other and even snuggling at times.  I called after a few days of consistent crate wetting for advice.  The crate just wasn't working as she thought it was ok to go potty in there even after we just let her out.  One night before bed she plopped herself on Bailey's bed and snuggled.  We left her and what do ya know, she slept through the night, and ever since, with no accidents.  It has been a week.  I think it's called "peer pressure training" or "I've never slept in a bed so comfy training".  Whichever one, it's working and she's very happy!  I will send more photos of Lilly later with the family later but these are just so darn cute!  Thank you for all you do!
We just really want to thank Circle Tail for the service you are doing. The work you have put into these dogs is clear, and it's great to be able to have the option of rescuing a dog that has had personal care and attention. Here are some pictures of Coastal/Tucker enjoying his new home. He loves our son, Colin, and we love how gentle he is. Thank you for helping us find such a great match for our family!

We adopted Buster (fka Krump) in November of 2007.  You can see that he is a much loved part of the family!

Just wanted to let you know that we are so happy with Korah.  Have changed his name to Khoury.  He is a wonderful dog.  We took him to the veterinarian Monday -- he checked out fine! He is one smart dog.  He is training us very well!! I just want to thank you for allowing us to adopt Khoury.  He is a joy and a blessing.  I think he feels the same way. I hope you enjoy the pictures I sent!! He romps and  plays -- he is very smart and then snuggles in on my slippers, his gator or "his chair. God bless you all for the efforts you do for these animals.

This is Wellington over the holidays playing with my parents chocolate lab her name is Maggie they are both awaiting the Kong Frisbee toss!

He has been absolutely wonderful!  If I had a bigger house I would come get his brother Bucky.  This dog is fantastic his favorite toy is the Kong Frisbee he has been going to work with me daily. He pretty much goes wherever I go.  He loves the car and loves to just be around people by far the best $150.00 I have ever spent.  Good luck and thanks.
Hello all... Just a note to let you know that I have kept the name Ghirardelli aka Delli and she is doing well here in her new home.  We have had no adjustment issues.  She and Casey (aka Amal, my first Circle Tail puppy) are getting along famously whether it be in the house or at the dog park.  She gets along well with the other dogs at the dog park and has been very gentle with children who go there.  Casey has become the typical big brother and watches over her at the dog park.  He will try to heard her away from trouble if the other dog is playing to rough.  Delli has brought Casey back to life after the loss of our Sasha.  She is definitely helping us to create new and happy memories.  Thank you for both of the joys of my life.

Quincy (Bluff) turned one last month!  We feel so blessed to have him in our family.  He really enjoys meeting other people and dogs; playing and jumping with his toys; and going on walks.  We attached some pictures...he is a tall, lanky guy!  Hope all is well at Circle Tail.

We just wanted to thank you again-We adopted Windsor back in October, 2007.  He is 6 months old now and is a healthy and very lovable dog.  He loves the outdoors and  freely runs in the front and back yard, he is kept in the yard with the help of the electric fence (learned the boundaries quickly).  He loves to go to the dog park and freely associates with the other dogs.  His favorite place to romp is on the bike trail near our home.

I just wanted to let you know how well Zugs is doing.  She is getting very comfortable with us and her new surroundings. I have been taking her walks at night and she does great on a lead, very well mannered. I have attached a few photos for your review and I think you will see how comfortable she really has become with me. My husband and I are really enjoying her company and she seems to enjoy us as well!!  She gives as much loving as she gets.

Well, it's been a week since we adopted Carney. The first day was stressful, but was to be expected. He paced from room to room and crying at the front door and the door leading to the garage. We knew he missed Tracy, so that was hard to watch. We crated him for about an hour to settle him down and that did the trick. By the next morning, he was fine. Since that time, he's been just super. We couldn't have asked for a better dog. We practice his commands every day, and he's been to the dog park 4 times. Today I only lasted 15 minutes out in the 0 degree weather, so we packed up and visited Jon at the firehouse - he worked today. We can't wait for spring because Jon runs 3 miles everyday and I walk 1 mile twice a day. So that, along with our dog park visits will keep our boy active! We take him everywhere in the car. We bought a pet barrier and he rides great. So if we have errands like getting gas, and running through the ATM or drive-thrus, he rides along. We've only had to crate him 2 times, no longer than 2 hours.  On Friday, we got his Hamilton County dog license at the pet store. When they asked us what his name was I said, "Are we sticking with Carney?" and my son said, "I actually liked Jackson" and my husband said, "yeah, of all the names we threw around, Jackson is my favorite choice". So Jackson it is! We're actually calling him "Jackson Carney" until we're ready to drop Carney. We go tomorrow to buy our 2008 Anderson Dog Park Permit. Then either this week or next to get a supply of heartworm medicine. His next dose is March 1st. By the way, he met our son Chris on Wednesday in Indianapolis. Chris just fine with him, and Jackson Carney was very calm with him. Attached is a photo of Jackson, when he visited Daddy at the firehouse today. He's such an awesome dog, and we are so glad to have him in our family.

Hello Circle Tail, We wanted to let you know that Jackson (known at Circle Tail as Carne) is doing fantastic. We take him to the dog park 4-5 times a week, and he LOVES playing frisbee! His best friend at the dog park is Lima, a female Ridgeback. He starts obedience class this week. Thanks to Circle Tail, he already knows a majority of the commands, so he'll be the class star! Circle Tail, we can't thank you enough for Jackson - he's an absolute joy and wonderful addition to our family.

Thank you for contacting me, I'm so sorry it took me so long to reply!!! Morgan is thriving!!! She is a WONDERFUL addition to my life, she brings me smiles every day!! She has grown a lot and her coat has turned very golden! She is learning a few tricks, sit, shake, stay and circles. She has also learned that I have to put on my shoes to take her outside, so now she brings my shoes to wherever I am sitting, lays them at my feet and nudges me with her nose...it is not unusual to find 3 or 4 pairs of shoes laying around my living room now. She has a great temperament and love for everyone she meets. She has made many friends in the neighborhood and visits/plays with them daily! Maybe it is because she is young and doesn't know any better but she LOVES the snow! She pounces around like Tigger. February 6th it will be one year that my first dog (Webster) died, having Morgan will make that day easier! Thank you for your wonderful services. I hope your kennel continues to thrive!
Grady is doing wonderful and we are so very happy to have him as a part of our family.  He has so much personality and loves his toys and playing ball.  In fact, he has balls all over the place and I am pretty certain he knows exactly where each one is at. I am sending pictures of Grady playing ball in the back yard with my husband and will keep you up-to-date on our progress.

Venise, one of Vella's pups, now known as Dusty is doing great! Loves to play fetch, and can’t keep him out of the shower. Here are a couple of pics. We’ll send more as he grows

I can't believe it will be a year in April since I adopted Olive!  I can't imagine my life without Olive.  She is full of personality.  Her face is so expressive and she is able to read faces.  She also is very vocal.  I don't mean she has a problem with barking.  She "talks" by changing her pitch and inflection vocally.  Every now and then it sounds like she is imitating Chewbacca from Star Wars.  It's quite entertaining and I can't help but laugh out loud.  Dogs have always been a part of my life, but Olive has something a little extra special.  It's just the way she is.  She is playful, loving, well behaved, and very smart.  She enjoys going for walks, taking rides in the car, and loves to be chased as if we were playing tag.  She gives me that "Okay mom, come and get me" look and before I know it, it's game on!  I'm teaching her how to play hide and seek and she's picking up on it very well.  I can't say enough about Olive and I couldn't have ask for a better friend.  I want to say thank you to everyone who is a part of Circle Tail.  Anyone who knows me has heard me praise Circle Tail and talk about how wonderful it is to have such a place.  Congratulations on the progress of the new development.  More opportunities for even more happy beginnings!
Smiles (and wags from Olive),

We just wanted to let you know how well Simone (or Sugar, as we now call her) is working out for us. She is a sweet dog, and your group trained her very well. She is fitting right in with us. I cannot believe what a wonderful dog we were able to get from your organization. Thanks for taking good care of!

Just wanted to give you an update and tell you that we re-named Skeena -- she's now Molly!  She's doing well and seems to be settling in a little each day.  We've had a few accidents in the house but know this is normal and also know that it will improve with time.  She also began throwing up the day after we got her but we thought perhaps it was due to nerves, etc.  We fed her the same as what you were -- Iams so don't think that was it.  After the throwing up subsided for 12 hours, I cooked her chicken and rice in a small meal.  When that stayed down for 4 hours, I fed her that again.  By the next day, when that had stayed down, we started Iams again and all has been fine since.  I'm sending you a picture of her on her new favorite spot to lay in our family room -- her new bed (pillow).  She won't lay anywhere else!!  She also loves her toys -- favorite is a tennis ball.  We love that she isn't possessive of her toys and is learning to play with us!  We also love that when visitors have come to the house, she is so good.  She greets them, goes back occasionally for affection but otherwise lays down.  She is a good and smart dog.  We have an appointment tomorrow with the vet to have her rabies shot and get her license, heart worm meds, etc.

Everything is going absolutely great with Freesia.  We changed her name to Molly.  Molly was welcomed in by her new sister Lucy, a 6 month old schnoodle.  At the end of October, my husband finished fencing in our back yard which has given Molly and Lucy a very large yard to run and play. Molly is a very good looking dog.  We constantly get compliments on how beautiful of a dog she is.    She is very much a lover and likes to cuddle under blankets.  She has tons of energy and is such a pleasure to have around for not only my husband and I, but also for Lucy.Thank you so much as this was definitely the right choice for our family.  We look forward to many loving years with Molly.
I can never explain to you how much we love our dog.  We’ve changed Yarrow’s name to Brady Quinn, as we are big Cleveland Browns fans.  As you can see in the pictures, Brady is spoiled rotten.  Our black Lab, Tucker, is enjoying his new baby brother.  They play hard and always seem to find time to nap together.  He’s doing well with house training and is currently participating in basic dog training classes.

Just wanted to let you know that Afi (now “Alphonse” or “Alfi” for short) is doing quite well.  He’s a great little guy who gets along well with everyone and even lets me rock him in the rocking chair (the other dogs won’t let me do that).  We’ve been working on coming when called.  He still thinks it’s a game J.These are some pics of his first snow.

Leroy is doing great!! He is exactly what we were looking for. He is letting Pugsley be in charge, so all is calm. I am hoping that he plays with her soon!! We will be starting training soon. Thanks!

Moselle is doing great.  We couldn't believe what a good puppy she was when she first came home.  Still is, although I think she may be entering "adolescence" now...lately she's trying to see what she can get away with!  Remember how we loved her floppy ears?  Well, I think everything but her ears are growing!  The bottom part wants to stand straight up but the top wants to flop over resulting in them kind of sticking straight out (think of Yoda!).  She's also turning colors!  Everyday it seems she has a new yellow or orange colored streak or spot.  She loves walks, car rides, playing ball and chewing on her toys.  She may have missed her calling though.  She has a nose that won't quit!  She's always sniffing everything.  She'll be running outside and catch a smell and will almost do a summersault trying to stop.  I think she would have made a great drug sniffing or search dog!  Over the holidays we were wit h family who also had dogs (one two years old and one 3 months).  Moselle had a blast romping in the snow with her "cousins".  When we came home, she seemed sort of depressed.  Kept looking for someone to play with which promptly made the kids think she needs a permanent playmate.  So we are in discussions about getting another puppy (3 for, 1 against so far...the kids are working on dad!).  If we do decide on another puppy, we will definitely look at Circle Tail first
Hello! I thought i would send an update on Peyton (formerly Ferdinad)! He is doing GREAT in his new home! He is getting along very well with is older (but much smaller) brother Jack the Yorkie. He is completly potty trained and has learnd lots of fun new tricks! He enjoys long romps in the park and loves treats!!! He is now up to 35 pounds at 5 months. He is such a sweet boy and is so eager to please. He loves to cuddle. We are convinced we are going to have a very large lap dog on our hands! I have attached some pictures. You guys said you wanted to see the two of them sleeping together...well after they traveled through the holidays in the car in the same crate, they both decided it belonged to them so we caught them sleeping in it in the house. That is a priceless picture!! Hope you enjoy! More to follow later!
Otis is settling in nicely and we love his influence
on our household.  He is such a gentle and
well-mannered dog.  He approaches our cats cautiously
with curiosity, but is ultimately more concerned with
us than them.  One cat (Madison) follows Otis around
and the other cat (Franklin) stays to himself
upstairs.  Otis loves his dog bed, chewing on bones,
and being petted.  He follows us around the house and
listens to commands.  Although Otis is well trained,
we are not.  So, we are having a pet trainer come to
the house today to train us (the owners).  We want to
maintain his training and make sure we're not sending
him confusing or mixed messages.  We are having
trouble crating him when we leave the house, so we're
working on getting him comfortable with his crate
while we're at home with him.  He is exercised at
least twice a day and sleeps the whole night through
on his dog bed in our master bedroom.  Attached are
some pictures of him in his new home.  Thank you to
everyone who helped us find Otis.  We love him very
much and we are certain he's pretty fond of us as
well.  Thanks again, and we'll be in touch.
Sloopy is doing great!!!

Yuki had fun opening presents, playing with her toys, and eventually conking out! We’ve been having a great Christmas too this year with Yuki! It’s our first Christmas with her so we took a lot of pictures. Sorry if I’m sending too many and filling up your email space. Please let us know if you are to be doing promotions or pictures at any of the area dog stores, as we’ll definitely bring Yuki if we can make it! Hope you and your families are having a great Christmas, and Have a great New Year!

What a magical Christmas we had this year....Sam says "it is the best
ever"!!!  Sam woke up this morning and yelled downstairs for John and I to come up....when the 3 of us started back down the stairs, there was Fran at the foot of the steps with her big red bow and wagging her tail....she and Sam are already big buddies....she is exhausted and taking a nap as we speak!!  She is a great puppy and very well behaved....no indoor accidents yet(yeah, I know it hasn't be 24 hours yet!!) and no chewing of non-appropriate items!!!  Attached is a pic of Sam and Fran just after we all got downstairs....the basketball goal was also a big hit when Sam took Fran out for her first walk!!

I hope each of you is also having a magical Christmas....many thanks to Circle Tail for making this possible and going above and beyond in helping with the surprise!!!

Merry Christmas to Tracy and the workers and volunteers at Circle Tail. Merry Christmas to my brothers and sisters (Sonny, Peaches, Jasmine, Smokey and others that I have lost contact with), I am Baxter (Circletail Wren Puppy).

It has been a roller coaster year. I lost my constant companion Autumn on July 31st. I made a new friends in the neighborhood but it is just not the same. I overheard my owners talking about rescuing another dog, so perhaps I will have a playmate in the near future. I found where some of my gifts were hidden, I guess there will be 1 less gift under the tree, I call it an early Chistmas gift, my owners call me a troublemaker at times.

The staff at circle tail has made it possible to create many happy beginning, we thank you Circle Tail.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

To All who Were a Part of Training our Girl:   Hi. I have wanted to thank you for your wonderful care and training of Whimsy, aka "Cubs". She is a very special girl although still a bit shy with strangers, and she breezed through her obedience class, Manners 101, because she already knew most of what was being taught.  Blessings be to you and yours at this special season of the year.

Doc, formerly Versace, is doing great! He is a very pretty dog and attracts a lot of attention when we are out. The first thing people say when they pet him is, "Oooo...he's so soft!" He spends most of his time wrestling with his brother Boone, my Golden Retriever. I am planning to start training my Golden Retriever for the Canine Good Citizen test and then hopefully get him qualified as a therapy dog. I will try to train Doc along side of Boone, to see if he will be a good candidate. Best wishes in 2008!

Gunther, a.k.a. Gunny (formerly Harris), is a happy dog. Only a few doggy mishaps - digging flower bed holes and chewing a hooked rug!!! He loves playing frisbee, ball, chasing squirrels, going for walks. He's a great dog! We love having him! He loves his favorite kids - Kate & Alex. Also pictured is Gunny with his cousin, Boodah, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever who is much bigger and definitely the alpha dog! Gunny still likes to play with him.
Wishing you the simple pleasures of the holiday season.

Great to see you again this past Saturday at PetSmart.  Here are some pictures of Drummer I promised I would send.  The picture you took was super, ours aren't quite as good.Emily and Drummer are the best of friends.  Emily says he likes the agility training, if you ask Drummer, you might get a different answer! She really doesn’t do much agility training any more, actually he likes to retrieve Frisbees and rubber balls.  I usually walk him every morning before work.  He has also been trained to run on the treadmill so he can get exercise when the weather is really bad outside. We feel very lucky to have Drummer, he is a great dog!

Just checking in for a little holiday update. Bella (Fern) is doing great! She's crate trained, has a brand new fence in the backyard, and has learned all the basics (sit, stay, etc) including the new acquisition of "Roll over," which she's now doing constantly while she plays! The weigh in at the vet (Cherry Grove Animal Hospital is GREAT, by the way) last week was 22 pounds, so she's getting big. She's the best dog I've ever had...well behaved, a great personality, great with all the different people she's met. Thank you guys for providing us with this wonderful new family member. We love her. I've attached a photo. Hope everyone is well there! Happy Holidays.

Sorry it took me so long to email you photos.  Here are some photos I thought you may enjoy.  We have fallen in love with our puppy from Circle Tail.  We have named him Buddy.  Thanks and have a merry Christmas.

I've attached some pics of the two of them on their first weekend together. Peyton was SO good on the way home. He just sat in the backseat like a person. And then he got tired and crawled up into Kevin's lap and slept the rest of the way (and yes, Kevin sat in the backseat with him! It was cute). He has been very good so far. He is very well-behaved and happy go lucky. We have played non-stop and we came to IncrediPet and took him on a shopping spree. He  got all kinds of fun toys and a big fluffy bed. He and Jack have been fighting over toys as brothers do, but they love each other dearly. Peyton watched his first Colts game yesterday with Daddy while Mommy Christmas shopped. They are pretty much inseparable! He never makes a sound when we put him in his crate. He sleeps through the night and always goes potty as soon as we get  outside. We have had no accidents
so far. Jack did manage to "mark" me though...it was so funny. I was wrapping presents and he peed on my foot. I think he was saying to Peyton, "Hey, this is my momma!" We just had to laugh. It was hysterical. All in all, things are going great! He has been a wonderful addition to our family! Now we are looking forward to moving to our house with the big yard so they can romp and play to their hearts content! Which they already do, they just end up knocking over Mommy's stuff!! :-) We love him dearly and are so glad he's ours! We'll keep you updated as he grows! He has his first vet visit tonight with our vet then we are taking him over to my Dad's to play with the other big dogs. We couldn't be more thrilled with him. He is just what we were looking for, and I'm sure he feels the same way! Thanks again.

Here are pictures of Hawk.... he is doing great!! I wasn't going to get another dog, but my wife talked me into it!! We love him to pieces!

Hi this is Maeby's people Roman and Jorden. We just wanted to share our newest photos of Maeby with the circle tail family. Roman is a photographer so she had a real photo shoot the other day. Maeby is doing very well. Her personality has arrived! When we got her she was just a meek and afraid girl but now she's a wild woman (just a little spoilt too!).

Reno continues to be such a joy.  My husband, Steve, has been interested in getting a little boat for years.  He finally talked me into it when he said that Reno would enjoy it.  So we got a little jet boat and took it to Brookville lake over the summer.  I bought Reno a swim vest with a handle so we can pull him in the boat from the water.  He loves diving off the boat and is completely exhausted by sunset.

It was a hot summer so we decided to groom Reno on our own as the groomer fee is a little high for our budget!  We got pet clippers and were a little surprised that Reno did not mind being shaved.  He stayed cool all summer.  He loves swimming so we were thrilled when our club allowed dogs to come swim on the last day of summer.  Reno actually went off the diving board!

He enjoys entertaining so we frequently have other dogs over for play dates as our backyard is big enough to get in a lot of running and wrestling.

We wish you the best this holiday season.

Attached are some pictures of Jack and his new best friend, our old girl, Scout.  I'm sorry it took us so long to send them.  Jack officially considers our home his and he is doing extremely well.  He weighed almost 25 lbs at his last vet appointment.  He will surpass Scout in no time.

Just wanted you to know that Windsor is doing well.  He is making himself at home and seems to be quite happy. He has met our adult children and their dogs and gotten along well with them.  We are working on potty training and he is catching on.  He already knows how to sit and is starting  to pick up some other commands as well.  He is pretty much laid back (he actually fell asleep on the examination table at the vet's office), but he can be quite a little ball of energy at times!  He is really attached to my son, but seems to love us all!  I am sending you some of our many pictures.  He is quite a ham!   Thanks for our new family member.

I wanted to send a quick update on "Posey" or with her new name, "Ava". She is a wonderful little dog and we are having the best time with her! She is very smart and loves our one and a half year old, Lucas. They are always getting into mischief together. She is potty trained and asks to go out, loves her crate and flies into it whenever asked, and already "protects" the family with her loud bark! She has rejuvenated our two other dogs, and they play constantly. Thanks so much bringing all of us together. More updates to follow, after her first Christmas!

Hi everyone its Yukon I have settled into my new home with my new sister Haley an my new mom an dad. I've been playing fetch an running an I met the great Dane next door  named Harley mom an dad had me in crate for the first few days when they were gone at work but on Thursday they let me stay out an let me play with my sister an  roam the house it was fun an mom an dad were happy that I Didn't make mess in the house so now I get to say out all the time. Yukon has been a blessing he has brought such joy to our home we love playing with him an just watch him be goofy he always wants to give kisses an just be petted an always wants to play fetch thanks so much for letting us adopt him .

Just wanted to send you an update and a picture of Athena in her new home. This is a picture of her with our Daughter. She has adjusted very well to her new surroundings. She is an excellent dog ,well worth the ride to Ohio. She does however seem to be scared of traffic. We live in a residential area and when we walk down the sidewalk, she does not like the cars. She does seem to be getting better, but I think its going to take time. If you noticed I titled this Athena update, however we have changed her name to Maggie and she is responding Very well to it. My family and Shirley's family thinks she is just a sweetheart.

Hi Circle Tail people!  We just wanted to send you an update and some more Yuki pictures. Yuki has been such a pleasure to have around she is certainly becoming a part of our family very quickly.  She is getting used to our routines and we have been taking her on multiple walks per day. We usually walk her in the morning, after the girls come home from school, and once again after dinner. She just loves being outside! She will stay in our yard for the longest time and visit with the other dogs bordering our yard, having a blast with all of them.  All of the neighborhood kids have been over to see her and love her almost as much as we do. At night, she sleeps in Ashley’s room, sometimes in her crate, but sometimes not, we leave it up to her. At night, we let her out to go hurry, and with the exception of one night (when she woke us up), she has made it all the way through the night.  One thing we would like to train her to do is to bark or let us know when the door bell rings or she hears something outside. Is there a way to train her to do that?  In summary, Yuki is already a very loved addition to our family. She is such a good dog, and we feel very lucky to have her and we are very grateful to Circle Tail for allowing us to adopt her.

I wanted to quickly email you to tell you how Gracie (formerly Winni) is doing. We had a wonderful time meeting everyone at Circle Tail.  Our 12 year old dog, Graham and Gracie rode home nicely together, even taking a nap.  Once at home, everything went SO smoothly.....  Gracie LOVES to play in the backyard -- lots of throwing the ball.  She seemed very comfortable immediately.  We enjoyed watching her consume TONS of water, and enjoying her new toys, bones and a couple of treats.  She was such a great girl in the bath....  and when we went to dry her off, she put her front paws on the sink and looked at herself in the mirror - thinking it was another dog.  We had not told our children that we would be bringing Gracie home today.....  and when they arrived home from school, they immediately recognized her from her photo online.  Their only concern was whether or not she could live with us forever....  and were so relieved to hear that she was now a member of our family.....  FOREVER.  Today being our son's 8th birthday made it even more special......  Gracie opened presents with us & sat with us for birthday cake.  Toward evening we noticed Gracie getting nervous....  as if she were tired, and realizing she wasn't at the place she normally slept.  We (along with my parents who are visiting) all sat with her in the family room....  petting her and talking to her.  Gracie put her head in whoever's lap she was closest to.  She immediately relaxed and went to sleep.....  as I type this, my children have gone to bed and my mom is on the floor still petting Gracie.

I am so grateful for Bayton. He and I have been together for over 2 years now and he has adapted to being my “unofficial” assistance dog. I do have a slight hearing impairment that it only took him 6 months to recognize and alert me of things that I could not hear. He is the most amazing dog!

There must have been one of those "cosmic moments" happening in the universe today, because no kidding, on my way home tonight I was thinking that it had been a long time since I had been in touch with you or Circle Tail to give an update on Zima. On listening to the answering machine, the first message was from Kim at Circle Tail asking us how things were going with Zima.  I am attaching some photos we took the other night of the kids and other dogs with "Z".  As you can see, she continues to thrive and we continue to love her.  Her health continues to be wonderful, and she is up to 72 lbs.  She runs on the treadmill every morning while the kids eat breakfast (cuz its still dark outside) and walks again in the afternoon.  Friends constantly remark on how well she has fit in to our family and how comfortable she is in our home.  I give a lot of credit to the obvious love/respect and training she received at Circle Tail. She and Bailey (our black Cavalier) began the Beginning Agility class at the CCDTC four weeks ago.  They are both doing very well, but Zima would like to do a little more play time with the other dogs rather than concentrate on the tasks at hand for the entire hour.  :)  She remains very playful, but a very good listener.  She is great at entertaining herself by gently (very happy about that) tossing her toy and chasing it or rolling around with it.  It's good she can amuse herself as our other two dogs are not into "puppy play".  My husband and I had to go back to Chicago for 2 days last week and our regular house/dog/child sitter was busy so we left the children with friends and took the the pups to the doggie hotel (Best Friends Briarwood).  Zima was so sad when we dropped her off, but she met a 'girl friend' and was in play group with her each day.  We had her housed next to Link and Bailey so she wouldn't think we were abandoning her.  She did great but was happy to come home.  Hope all is well with you. Best regards.

Just wanted to send you an update on Quincy (Bluff) adopted in June.

I am almost 8 months old and I am learning new things everyday!  I completed my puppy training class in August and my favorite part was the recess at the end of class.  I got to play with all of my classmates...about 15 other dogs.  I love to meet other dogs and people.  I am very social and go many places.  In August I went to a dock diving day at a city pool.  I was not sure of the big pool but I liked the baby pool!  I would like to try lake swimming sometime.  My human sister is a senior at Indiana University, and I love to go to Bloomington for IU football games and tailgating.  Since my human mom went back to school to teach kindergarteners, my human grandma picks me up everyday and I go to her house for the afternoon.  Sure beats staying in my crate all day.  I am sending some pictures of some of my latest activities.  Hope all is well at Circle Tail!

Here's a picture of Nessa this morning after our three mile walk and many "furious" laps around the yard :) I will send more later!

Jima is doing great!!!  We love her so much, she fits right in.  Tanner and she play very well together and nap together quite often.  We have taken her camping to Indiana and just down the road to Wilmington several times, she does so well in the camper we are crate free when we camp.  We are complemented everywhere we go on their behavior.

We can’t thank you enough!

It’s been almost three months since Cedar, now named Brutus, joined our family, but it seems like he’s been with us forever.  He has made himself at home, finding favorite spots like the patch of sun that shines through the skylight in late afternoon, and claiming the back yard as his personal playground.  That dog LOVES to play ball!  He has now charmed the neighbors on each side of the backyard fence to play ball with him when our arms need a rest.  He sizes up new people that come to our house and once he approves of them (and it doesn’t take long), he grabs a ball and invites them to play.  We’ve devised new ball games to keep it exciting for him (and us).  He’s made a friend named Lucy, a boxer who lives two doors down.  When we let Lucy into our fenced back yard, Lucy will grab one of Brutus’s toys and make him chase her for it.  Flirt!  Brutus has some quirky fears but I think he’s becoming less fearful as each day passes.  I made the monumental mistake of taking him for a walk on garbage day.  He hates the garbage trucks!  We’ve realized that if someone enters the room carrying something that is new or unfamiliar, he becomes fearful.  I brought a bright yellow backpack upstairs from the basement one day and you’d think he’d seen a ghost.  It was pretty funny.  He and the backpack have now made friends.  My son broke his foot several weeks ago.  When he came home from the hospital with crutches, Brutus backed away.  After a couple of days, he got over it.  Finally, he has some aversion to my son’s guitar.  Not the sound, just the general looks of it.  He has not overcome that fear or dislike, whatever it is.  We’ve learned to gently ease Brutus into new situations with new items that might scare him.   Brutus is very loving.  He wants to be with us all the time, as all loyal companions do.  The feelings are definitely mutual.  I miss him when I leave the house and can’t wait to get home and play with him or just sit with him curled up next to me.  I’ve attached a couple of pictures that we took of Brutus a few weeks after he came home with us.  I’ll send more during the autumn when the grass isn’t so brown!
This is Nitro's new family.  Attached to this email are some long overdue pictures of Nitro, who we adopted back in March.  He has been absolutely wonderful. We are so lucky to have him.  We love him to death and he has become a big part of our family.  We couldn't be happier, he has truly brought joy into our lives.  We were looking at your website, like we do every week, and saw Hayes and would like to come and meet him this Saturday morning if at all possible.  Please email us back and let us know if this could be arranged.  We hope you like the pictures!  The last picture is of him getting caught "with his hand in the cookie jar, or should we say face."  We laughed so hard when we walked into the kitchen and saw this scene.Thank you so much.

Just wanted to let you know Spencer (Skully) is getting along just fine. After a month and a half in his new home, he's starting to settle in to his new surroundings. Spencer is currently in his 4th week of Obedience Training at the Middletown Dog Training Center. He's 1 of 3 Golden Retrievers in the class. His previous venture in your Assist Dog Training is definitely showing, as he seems to be a little ahead of most of the other dogs in class.
We have gone to Caesar's Creek 3 times now, and he's awesome in the water. All 3 times we've gone to the lake with my buddy and his German Shepard pup Mandy, and the 2 get along great (although Spencer out-swims and out-fetches the Shepard). Here's a few photos to assure you that he is in his element, and is very happy in his new home (and with my grandson, his new little buddy). Thank you Circle Tail for giving me the opportunity of loving another Golden after ours died 2 weeks before Spencer's adoption. Spencer has definitely helped me through the grieving process

Well, Rafter is doing great!  He's getting along with the other dogs, and is getting used to little people! When my 3 year old granddaughter first came over, he barked at her a bit, but he's used to her now.  He's getting used to our routines too.  He's really a good dog.  I'm so happy to have him here. Here's a picture of him with Elise, my granddaughter. She calls him "your new doggy." Sometimes she calls him Sammy.  I have no idea where that came from, but it's cute. More to come.

Just wanted to let you know that everything is going GREAT!!!!  We absolutely love Echo and think he is the perfect fit with our family.  I took him to the vet today.  He weighs almost 41lbs. and is in perfect health!  Thank you again for all of your help.  You definitely steered me in the right direction with Echo.  I also am very impressed with the Circle Tail organization and have been raving about it to everyone!

Hi there!  I just wanted to update you since we adopted Rio.  We have  all fallen completely in love!  He's a great dog. From the first night here, he seems to be feeling fairly comfortable with the environment.  (I found him sleeping on my bed, head resting nicely on my pillow.)  He gladly jumps on the kids in the morning to wake them up for school and loves taking them down to the bus stop. We've been having a bit of trouble with him jumping on
people, but feel we will get that quickly resolved. Rio is taking us to obedience school starting tomorrow evening. He does just fine, but we  need to know how to work with him.  I made my family wait a long time to get a dog, but feel that Rio was definitely worth the wait.  We're so glad that he didn't work out to be a service dog, because he is working out to be a  great dog for our family.  Thanks so much for all the work that you put into
 him.

Just wanted to send a few pictures of Murphy. He is becoming the sweetest boy and is really warming up to us. Some of his favorite activities are going for rides in the car, going to the dog park and of course, eating :  ) I will send more pics later!

Well, it's taken me a while - but I think I've finally gotten a few 'good ones.'  Emily's doing quite well - making friends everywhere she goes (really, I think she's yet to meet a stranger).  I am continually in awe at how loving and obedient she is.  Thank you Thank you Thank you.  We've decided she probably has some black lab in her rather than sheltie - but then, we don't know what would make her so small (if she truly were a shepherd/lab cross) - maybe runt of the litter?  Anyway - everything's going quite well.  I took her to my apartment yesterday (we were getting some contract stuff done) and I let her sniff around - she seems as excited as I am for the new place :-D    Thanks again!

I am just writing a quick little update about Sampson( Armani) who we adopted from you on Aug 4th.  He is so wonderful, very smart, and the cutest thing in the world, everyone who meets him just loves him.  He is so mellow and fun!  I am including some pictures in this e-mail, sorry there are none with us and him, its hard to get him to sit still for long enough, but we will send more pictures soon! Thank you again, he is just wonderful!

Thought you'd like to see a few current pics of Navi and Ivan.  He's doing fine and we love him a lot.  He almost is walking around with something he's not supposed to have, but he's improving ... slowly but surely.  ;-)

Doc is growing like a weed.  He was 31 pounds at his final puppy visit on the 16th.  He very sweet and an important part of my family.
We've had Zima for 24 hours now and all is going extremely well (hopefully I didn't jinx things by saying that!). She has fit into our family amazingly well.  We have been on several walks, one at a local park.  Her new brother is particularly fond of her and they walk together.  The other girl dog would prefer to be an "only child" I think, but she's "tolerant".   While at the park she met a little puppy and the two of them LOVED each other; the little puppy curled up next to Zima and just laid there.  We also went to PetsMart and let Zima pick out her bed and a few toys (although she's been in heaven with our doggy toy chest in the family room).  The house looks like we have little kids around again.  :)  I am attaching a few photos and will send more later.  We are taking her to be checked out by our vet on Monday.  So pending nothing major coming up there, I think she's found a permanent home.  We just love her.

Wanted to let you know Rex(aka Midi) and

Annie(aka Raa) are doing good. They have adjusted to each other. Their play gets to rowdy

at times, but are getting better each day. Don't know where Annie was sleeping
before, but she seemed to like our bed better than her bed. We've had to work on that

some. She is a real loveable dog, her and Rex do very
good with our 7 grandchildren. They both seem right at home here.

Here's a picture of Riley (the name we finally all agreed on) for Tawa.  We're having a good time with her.  Potty training is going good for the most part.  However, she wants to chew on everything in sight so we are having to adjust a little with that.

Here is an updated photo of Tegan with his new family. What a joy he is  to our lives! We really do not know what we would have done without him.

Here are some great photos of Schumi (with his new Coach collar of course) and a couple of his sister, Schatzie.
Kelby's new name is Yaz.  My husband named him for his all-time
favorite baseball player, Carl Yazstremski.  I think Yaz has adapted very well now.  He's very affectionate with me, but in the beginning, he seemed fearful of my husband, Dan.  Yaz would go in the opposite direction when called!  Dan was feeling pretty rejected because he wanted to play with him, or just pet him, but Yaz just didn't want to have anything to do with him.  I finally figured out what the problem was.  Yaz was afraid of Dan's "male" voice, so I suggested that he lighten it up a bit.  The next thing I know, Dan's calling Yaz using a falsetto voice!!!  It's so darn funny!!!  With this "new" voice, Yaz comes every time, and now he loves to play and run around
with Dan in the backyard. Here's a picture of Yaz in our backyard.  He's taking a break from running laps like a wild thing, round and round the pool.

Just wanted to let you know that Spencer (Skulley) is doing fine after the first day at his forever home. I believe that he is making it easier for his new Mom and myself in dealing with the loss of our Golden Retriever of 10 years, Madison. He's been playing with his new big sister, Kelly, and his new cat brother, Sebastian, and all of the other dogs in his new extended family. He has met one of his uncles and two of his aunts, along with both of our daughters and both grandchildren. The first night came and went without a hitch. Today, Spencer's Mom took him, with our grandson and niece, to SuperPetz to get a few more playthings. Mom said he was a bit timid and shy in the store, but I'm sure he will get over this in no time. So far, his chewing has not been a problem. As long as he has a toy to play with, he's fine. His favorite is his new Kong soft Frisbee, which he is learning pretty good how to retrieve and actually bring back. He explores the backyard, and sniffs everything in sight (including all of Mom's flowers and landscaping). I personally want to thank Circle Tail for giving us this chance with Spencer. From what I can see so far, he's going to grow up to be a fine companion and friend. He will be getting enrolled in obedience training soon, with the possibility of maybe some agility classes. Here's a few pictures, and we'll email again soon.

Khiza (now Max) is doing very well.  He has adjusted to his new home, the cats are adjusting, and, very importantly, he loves boating (see attached pictures).  You can add these pictures to the one of him already on your website with the stuffed rabbit. I did have one question/comment.  He was trained very well and adjusted to us being his leaders after a short time.  I would love to thank the inmate who trained and took care of him.  I’m sure he is missed as he is such a loving dog.  Can you please pass along our appreciation?  He and I are in training now and he is just moving along with flying colors. One more note, I tell everybody about Circle Tail as the training program is such a win for everybody.  Keep up the dog loving!

Lauren is doing great. We re-named her Bailey due to a Lauren already in the family. Here is a picture of her with Christina

Buffy is going just great. She fits in really well with the rest of the pack - Quincy, Mars, and Alpha-dog (and former Circle Tail dog) Sally. She loves playing Frisbee, ball, or tug, and she and Sally really enjoy flying around the house after each other. We also found out that Buffy is a southpaw – when asked to give her paw, she always offers the left one. Attached are two pictures – one of Sally and Buffy relaxing together on the couch (Buffy is on the right) and the other of Buffy, Quincy, and Sally playing Frisbee with Kimberly.

Here are some photos of our Ellie whom we adopted in May. Her name was Elana. She's been a fantastic dog and gets along famously with our other two dogs. You had asked for some pictures. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Dandy is doing SO well!  She is completely free of accidents and is 100% acclimated at this point.  She loves her yard and chasing squirrels and growling at deer.  She is so happy!

It was a good second day for Jara (a/k/a Maggie Mae - starting to go by Maggie)!  She took a bath and allowed me to clip her nails.  She is eating from our hands while being asked to sit and come by her new name.  We  found that she is food assertive (not so much aggressive) and even with toys surprisingly. Our boys just let her be and she actually likes Snoop (the larger cardigan mix) more than Bradaigh - the pure bred Pembroke corgi.  She loves to lay on the couch and be by us all the time.  She gives lovewith her kisses and we pet her and nuzzle her.  She is crated at night in our bedroom and our boys are in bed with us getting the extra attention that they need. We are very happy how well she is behaving.  She will be going to the vet soon for her rabies and to get some Frontline and Heartgard.  More updates to come!!  I have attached a few pictures.

I would like to report that Traven's ride with us back home went very smoothly.  He slept on me three and a half of the four hours.  We got home around 11:30ish and the whole family came out to meet him.  Boy was he awake then!!! Traven is so adorable and i would just like to thank you again for choosing ne to be his owner.  I am also happy to report that he is already showing how smart and well behaved he is. The first night he barked 20 minutes after I put him in his kennel and didn't bark until 6 this morning (Thursday).  He has only had 2 accidents, 1 being the moment he saw me from his crate after i got home from being out for about 2 hours.  Traven hasn't walked into our open rooms, and we only had to tell him once.  He seems pretty comfortable here already.  He knows where he's supposed to go to the bathroom, and is showing other signs of promise.  I played fetch with him today.  He is slowly learning how to release the ball for a treat, and he sits when I ask him to, WITHOUT a treat.  I think Traven is already very comfortable here.

Our first introduction Saturday 6/23     The ride home was very good (He didn't get carsick)We stopped for lunch and the first thing he did was steal a French fry from my Sister before she got it to her mouth. lol! After five days I have him sitting for every tidbit.  I'm still working on 'stay'.  (Also working on housetraining. I've ordered a litter box, he seems to ignore pee pads. He doesn't seem to want to do his business outside no matter how many walks to take, but he does heel well)) He loves to play with the faux cat and carries it through the house like a prize trophy.  He loves to wrestle with it. He is a work in progress, but I am really enjoying him.  I'll let you know how it goes. :)

I just wanted to give an update on Kate adopted April 21,07. She is now known as Katie. She is very camera shy. I can't get her to look at me so I had to take it out the back door window. She still does not know had to play much with her toys but loves to go on walks. She is such a sweet dog.
We have nothing to say but wonderful things about our Molly so far. She has been getting acclimated to her new room & yard. Our cat Daisy has ventured as close as 6 inches to Molly with neither a hiss or bark uttered. She is a different dog with and without her gentle leader. Racing through the back yard playing fetch but all business when you put it back on. Molly is settling in nicely in her new home - a real joy to have around our home.  She had her first bath and toenail clipping this Saturday and was a perfect lady throughout the whole process. The owners of the doggy bath commented on how well behaved she was. She continues to be a joy & so much fun to have around.  She is so content to just be with us.

Hi!  I have been at my forever home for a week and I am adjusting well!  I have been to see my vet, which is a family friend of over 25 years!  He says I am a good dog!  I got to meet the whole staff and several other clients, one being a cat!  I will start puppy classes on July 9th.  My other activities for the week have been:  Lake Day--where I got to meet 3 dog friends of the family.  The lake looked inviting but I am a little too young to go in!  I have been to my human dad's work to meet them.  I have been to Petco 2 times.  My favorite thing was the farmer's market on Saturday!  I met 2 big Goldens and several other dogs.  They put water out for us and even have a "Three Dog Bakery" there for treats!  I get to go on a walk in the neighborhood everyday, so I am meeting all the neighbors too!  On Father's Day, I went to my human Pepaw's assisted living home.  He was glad to meet me and I got to visit with all the residents there!  I think I will visit there often.  I am doing
well with my house training and I have learned "sit and stay" and retrieving!  I get my picture taken a lot so I am attaching some for you.  I hope all is well at Cirlce Tail.  Thanks for giving me a good start to life!  Love, Quincy (Bluff) and my family

Just wanted to follow up and write you with an update on Dandy.  She is quickly getting acclimated as are we and things are going very well!  She has had a couple of accidents, but getting much better....probably just adjustment to the environment.  Dustin and I are so pleased with her!  She is SUPER sweet and minds SO well.  We are very impressed with the training that she received!  We plan to pick up sessions with her to ensure we are trained and she remembers her training.  She is full of energy, but so much fun to play with and walk.  We are training her on the wireless fence and b/c of her awesome training she is picking it up so quickly.

Attached are a couple pictures from this weekend.  Thank you so much again!!!!!!

We just thought we might share our latest picture of Maize, also known as Wiggle Butt. We have had her now for a little over 3 years. After moving from Cincinnati to North Carolina, she has really become fond of the good weather and lots of time outside that she gets. All of her wonderful training and house manners remain intact and she is a very loved, spoiled lady. We are so thankful to have her in our lives and that there are organizations like yours who take such care to match the right dog with the right family. You do a great job and we hope to be in a position soon to adopt a playmate for Maize. Thanks, again, for all you do to bring together such great dogs with families, like ours, who love them so much.
Here's my new boy….finally resting at home. He's been playing with me today and he slept all night next to my side of the bed. I think he feels at home now. He's at my office with me today and he loves meeting everyone. He's so good! I will send photos of us together when I get some (soon).

It’s been one week since I left Circle Tail to join my new family.   I was confused and frighten at first, but now I am comfortable and happy.  I have a new name, Doc.   My big brother Boone and I play all the time.  We like to wrestle and tug on the rope.   Sometimes Boone lets me win.  We run in the fenced-in yard or chase each other around the house too.   Together we are Boone~Doc.  Mom thinks it’s cute.   I have met all the neighbors and many new extended family members.   They all think that I am very cute, of course.  One of my favorite spots is the air conditioning vents.   I love to lay on them and nap.   I like to lie on the tile too.   Any place that it is cool.   Mom told me that Boone loves the snow and that I will have a lot of fun this winter.   I have no idea what she is talking about, but I can’t wait to find out.  I’ve been to the vet twice.   Once to check to make sure all my worms are gone, which they are,  and get another buster shot.   Today I went to get my stitches out.   I like the people at the vet’s office.   In fact, I like them so much that I fell asleep on the table!   I have already gained a pound. Mom told me what a smart boy she thinks I am because I learned to potty outside all the time in just 4 days.   I have also learned to sit at the top of the steps while visitors are leaving, or when I am waiting for Mom to come in from watering the flowers.    I think she wants me to do the same thing when visitors come through the door, but it’s hard to do when you are so excited. I just thought that I would drop you line to let you know how much I love me new home.   I give my Mom and brother kisses all the time, so they will know that I am happy.   I hope all my brothers and sisters find good homes soon.   If you get a chance, let the ladies that raised me know that I am well and thank them for all their love and care.     I have attached some pictures so you can see me in my new home. Love, Doc

We just wanted to give you an update on Khiza. His new name is Max, and he is started to learn it already. He has adjusted well so far to his new home, although he only goes to the bathroom in our yard when he is desperate . Otherwise, it's one of the vacant lots around us that get the pleasure of his gifts J Max has been such a blessing to us, he is well behaved, loves the other dogs in the neighborhood, the few kids he has met have been delighted by him, and he loves the dog park! My cats are still traumatized, but all in due time. Thanks for helping us make this great match. Max is a great addition to our family. Please keep us on your mailing list for your newsletter. Here he is with his favorite toy, a very life like bunny.  I think it is helping him get over his anxiety over the real bunnies in the yard that he can’t chase.  Notice the position of the bunny, it looks like he killed it, very fun.

I know I am about a month late but I just wanted to let you know that everything is going great with Rudolph. I am constantly receiving compliments on what a good dog he is. I am amazed at just how good he is with other animals. Almost everyday when we are out for a walk we run into other dogs and Rudy is always ready to play and I have yet to see even a hint of aggression with either me or another dog. I couldn't be happier with my decision to give him a home. Everyday he does something that will make me laugh whether it is being afraid of rain drops hitting him or refusing to sleep in his dog bed I bought( he will lay in it but will get out and sleep on the floor next to it) Thanks again.

It has been one week since Sasha and I brought home Casey, formerly known as Amal.  I am attaching a picture of them both.  Casey has done very well since coming home and has quickly settled in. He, Sasha and I go to the Boone County Animal park nightly for his run.   He and Sasha are still getting to know one another and Sasha is gradually warming up after being the PRINCESS.  I now have a PRINCE and PRINCESS.  Thank you!!!!!!!

I wanted to share with you our gratitude for helping us adopt Nia.  She is a wonderful little girl and we have absolutely fallen in love with her.  Here are some pictures of Nia and her new family.

Thought I would give you a quick update. Maybe is doing well. Her tummy hasn't been upset since I wrote last. My guess is she was still upset about moving and all the new things that entailed. We took her to my parent's farm in central Ohio a few weekends ago. As you can
see from the photo running outside, teasing goats, and sniffing the farm wore her out. She is a lazy bones that's for sure! She lays on the floor in front of the box fan most of the day and sometimes we have to just about drag her down to the park just to get out for a
while!  We also found out she HATES fish in tanks. We had to cover the tank to get her to settle down. Maybe can be a real nut sometimes but her goofy personality is entertaining. She has even started barking a little. Which we appreciate. I think she is starting to
trust us more and guard her home. We call her "the beast" because she's just so jolly and cuddly her attempts to be ferocious are comical.

Hi Circle Tail!
We just wanted to send a quick update to show you how big our new puppy Belle (aka "Zimny") is getting.  She has adjusted very well to our home and our daily routine.  She keeps our other dog Ace (who was also adopted from Circle Tail, he was a member of the "cereal litter") on his toes.  As you can tell from the pictures she thoroughly enjoys sleeping next to him or at the very least in very close proximity!  Thank you again for all your assistance in helping us find the perfect dog for our home.  She has been a wonderful addition and we couldn't be happier!  Thanks again!

It has been a year Ty became part of our family and I wanted to give you an update and send a couple of pictures.  Ty is an absolute delight.   He is the most easy going dog that we have ever known.  He and Annie, our Corgi, are inseparable.  He allows her to always be in charge - just the way she likes it!    He loves long walks and trips to the dog park & has gotten Annie into shape trying to keep up with him.   He's a very popular guy in the neighborhood & has made lots of friends - human and canine. Thank you so much for matching us up with him.   With our 2 girls off at college this year it was great to have my 2 4- legged "kids" home to spoil.
We took Toby for a good summer cut. All that hair was getting in the way of his chasing the birds and squirrels. He's very happy. We go for a walk twice a day and he plays outside in the backyard a lot. He and Langley (toy poodle) have bonded really well and play games and chase around in the back. I thought that Langley would be irritated by a new dog because he's older and the younger guy Sammy would be closer to Toby but that's taking longer.  Sammy is my other rescue that came from really bad circumstances. It took about a year before Sammy trusted anyone and he's regressed some. Very possessive of me and doesn't like Toby much but we're seeing some progress.  He doesn't attack Toby but he does growl so we have to watch him. It's always over me. He's fine on walks and running in the back, it's only when he thinks that Toby is going to get my attention.

Just wanted to thank everyone at Circle Tail for allowing us to have such a wonderful puppy in Parker.  Parker is doing great he loves his sister they spend a lot of time together playing and snuggling together.  Parker loves to wrestle which his daddy loves.  We could not have asked for a better dog. He has brought Poohbear out of her shell and is now a new dog.  He visits the dog park regularly in Miami Meadows where he gets a chance to see all his dog buddies and meet new ones.  He keeps his mom, dad, and sister in shape with daily walks.  What a great dog.  His temperament is great for little children who love him and he loves the attention.  Thanks again for intrusting this awesome dog into our care.  We love him to death.
Here are some pictures of Jodi. She is she is doing well and stays close to me all the time.  She takes walks with me every day and normally walks about a mile in total walks.  She loves to walk with the other small dogs and their owners daily, but she is not overly fond of the labs or greyhounds or standard poodles who live here. She is still a little timid around males, except for Tom, and has adopted well to our condo and patio. Thank you for Jodi.  She is a Joy and very much loved and spoiled by Tom and myself.  My Grandson loves her already! We will keep in touch.

Here are some pictures of Skatie enjoying her new home in Mason! She seems really happy and isn't so shy in public anymore. :) I take her to Petsmart and she loves meeting other dogs and she absolutely loves children. The last pic is of my 9 year old cat Harley (who used to be my foster cat) who just loves to sleep in Skatie's crate during the day when I'm home. Thanks for everything Tracy!! I'll send more updated pics this summer. I'm just in love with Skate!

I just wanted to let you know Branna is doing great...She has been a challenge but she is a sweetheart and a very smart girl. She passed obedience class with flying colors and I think she was the favorite of the trainer...she is such a gentle dog and loves eveerybody. She loves the grand kids and they are finally over being scared of her because she gets so excited. She loves to go bye bye in the car and the people at the bank always give her a treat. Thank you for a great dog! Here is a pictures of her with her friend Snoopy.

We love Gilda! She has just fit in wonderfully. My sister Peg took
